Merchant Navy Monument

The Merchant Navy Monument is located on The Hoe at Plymouth, and together with other memorials faces south across Plymouth Sound.

The official unveiling of the Merchant Navy Monument was undertaken by HRH The Princess Royal on 3 September 2019 - Merchant Navy Day.

Other memorials on The Hoe include the Plymouth Naval Memorial (commemorating personnel of the Royal Navy), the Royal Air Force and Allied Air Forces Monument, the Armada Memorial, and a statue of Sir Francis Drake.
